Forward Deployed Software Engineer, Internship - Commercial

Palantir Technologies is seeking a Forward Deployed Software Engineer (FDSE) Intern to join their team in London. As a world-leading software company focused on data-driven decisions and operations, Palantir enables organizations to tackle critical challenges from drug development to supply chain optimization and child protection.

As an FDSE Intern, you'll work directly with customers, operating with the autonomy of a startup engineer while backed by an established tech company's resources. Your role involves understanding complex customer problems and designing data-driven solutions. Projects often begin with open-ended questions like optimizing power grids for wildfire risk or restructuring food supply chains for emergency assistance.

The position offers unique exposure to some of the world's most important industries and institutions. The ideal candidate should be pursuing an engineering degree, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science. Strong programming skills in languages like Python, Java, C++, or TypeScript/JavaScript are essential. You must be graduating in 2027 as this should be your final internship.

The role requires adaptability, independent thinking, and excellent collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical teams. You should be comfortable with travel (25-50%) and working in a dynamic environment.
