Front End Engineer - Apollo Platform

Palantir Technologies is seeking a Front End Engineer for their Apollo Platform. Apollo is Palantir's product that enables autonomous management and continuous deployment of mission-critical software, wherever it is. As a Front End Engineer, you'll be responsible for the experience of thousands of users, architecting interfaces that make sophisticated deployment and monitoring tasks simple.

You'll work on various aspects of the development lifecycle, from idea generation and user interviews to planning, design, prototyping, execution, shipping, and iteration. The role involves collaborating with Product Designers and internal and external customers to develop the overall look and design of web applications, as well as working with Backend Engineers to define APIs that support frontend functionality.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and evolving core libraries and components for rendering user interfaces
• Contributing backend code to unblock and enhance projects
• Routinely testing and debugging web applications
• Collaborating across teams and time zones in a fast-paced product development environment

The ideal candidate should have:

• 3+ years of front end software engineering experience
• Proficiency with web technologies and front end programming languages (JavaScript, TypeScript, etc.)
• Strong design sense and deep user empathy
• High engineering standards and a desire to improve systems
• Clear communication skills and ability to articulate the value of their work
