Senior Software Engineer, Substrate

Palantir Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Substrate team, which manages the company's extensive Kubernetes infrastructure across various environments. This role combines systems engineering with cloud infrastructure at scale, requiring expertise in container orchestration and automation. The position offers a competitive salary range of $135,000 - $200,000 plus equity and benefits.

The role involves designing and implementing Palantir's managed Kubernetes offerings across hundreds of clusters, spanning cloud providers and on-premises installations. You'll be responsible for creating automated solutions for cluster management, ensuring security and stability across different compliance regimes, and contributing to core CNCF components.

The ideal candidate should have strong systems programming experience, particularly with Go or C++, and deep knowledge of container orchestration with Kubernetes. Experience with cloud providers and infrastructure automation tools is essential. The role requires 4+ years of professional software development experience and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
