Responsibilities For Staff Data Engineer - AI (Remote)
- Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for ML/AI training workflows
- Optimize and manage large-scale structured and unstructured datasets in Data Lakes and warehouses
- Implement data validation, quality checks, error-handling, and bias detection
- Develop and enforce data governance practices
- Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and operational teams
- Optimize data pipelines and queries for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency
- Ensure data security and compliance through encryption, role-based access control, and data masking
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices
Requirements For Staff Data Engineer - AI (Remote)
- 8+ years of experience in data pipeline development, analytics, or data engineering with a focus on AI/ML workflows
- Proficiency in Spark, Python, SQL, and modern data stack tools
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale datasets
- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, primarily AWS, with exposure to GCP or Azure as a plus
- Hands-on experience with data validation, bias detection, and lineage tracking
- Understanding of data security and compliance standards in regulated environments
