Responsibilities For Data Scientist

  • Perform technical deep dive analyses on key business trends
  • Make data visually appealing and simple to navigate and comprehend
  • Identify key business levers, establish cause & effect, and communicate key findings
  • Engage in problem solving with Risk, Product, Marketing teams to determine performance trends
  • Support new product launches by establishing test and control plans
  • Monitor product performance

Requirements For Data Scientist

Python
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in a quantitative field (Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or Engineering) or equivalent field experience
  • 4+ years professional experience in an analytical role
  • Strong expertise in A/B testing, experimental design and analyzing controlled experiments
  • Strong foundation in causal inference techniques
  • Advanced SQL experience, preferable with Teradata systems, data mining, and Big Query analytics (Google Cloud)
  • Experience analyzing very large, complex, multi-dimensional data sets
  • Experience with Python and R is a plus
  • Experience in Machine learning techniques is a plus
  • Work experience in payments, ecommerce, or financial services industry is a plus
