As a Senior iOS Engineer, you'll be integral to a tight-knit mobile team, working on a platform that helps organizations create mobile applications for events, university campus open houses, venue guides, and more. The position requires extensive iOS development experience, with responsibilities including architecture design, mentoring junior developers, and driving technical initiatives. Responsibilities For Senior iOS Engineer (Lead Level)
- Architect and implement complex iOS features, making key technical decisions and establishing development best practices
- Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and drive adoption of modern Swift patterns and iOS frameworks
- Take end-to-end ownership of major features from technical design through App Store release
- Partner with Product and Design teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, implement security best practices, and optimize app performance
- Evaluate and integrate new iOS technologies, frameworks, and development tools
Requirements For Senior iOS Engineer (Lead Level)
- 5+ years of professional iOS development experience with shipped App Store applications
- Proficient in Swift and Objective-C
- Strong understanding of core iOS frameworks: UIKit, Foundation, Auto Layout, Core Animation, URLSession, and local persistence
- Experience with Git version control (or similar)
- Performance optimization and debugging experience with iOS applications
- Proven experience working in cross-functional teams
- Effective communication skills with team members and stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience mentoring developers or leading technical initiatives
