Principal Cloud Architect, NA

PepsiCo is seeking a Principal Cloud Architect to lead their North America Cloud infrastructure Operations. This senior technical leadership role involves overseeing the design, deployment, and maintenance of NA cloud infrastructure while ensuring compliance with security and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of cloud infrastructure experience and deep expertise in Azure cloud platform to drive cloud strategy alignment with business goals.

The role offers an attractive compensation package ranging from $118,700 to $198,800, plus a 15% annual bonus target. Benefits include comprehensive healthcare, retirement plans, and paid time off. This position is based in Plano, Texas, with 20% travel required.

As Principal Cloud Architect, you'll manage a team of cloud Infrastructure SREs while implementing best practices and standards for cloud operations. Key responsibilities include evaluating new technologies, optimizing cloud solutions, and providing technical leadership for application migration initiatives. You'll work closely with Global Cloud teams and various stakeholders to ensure efficient cloud operations.

The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in cloud architecture, particularly Azure services, along with proficiency in automation tools like Python, Terraform, and Ansible. Leadership experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences are essential. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
