Responsibilities For Cyber Security Engineer - Top Secret clearance required
- Ensure compliance with KR and DoD cyber security policies, procedures, and Authorization to Operate (ATO) conditions
- Review IaaS-related software release notes and provide security-focused recommendations
- Draft, deliver, and brief reports on cyber security status, findings, and remediation efforts
- Monitor SIEM, Syslog, and related security tools for alerts, misconfigurations, and potential threats
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams on product reviews and security best practices
- Configure and operate security tools across cloud and on-premises environments
- Apply industry best practices, DISA STIGs, and vendor-specific documentation
- Work with KR security personnel and DoD stakeholders to maintain compliance
Requirements For Cyber Security Engineer - Top Secret clearance required
- Strong knowledge of DoD cybersecurity requirements and compliance frameworks
- Hands-on experience with SIEM and security monitoring solutions
- Proficiency in ACAS/Tenable Nessus, McAfee EPO/Move/HBSS, SCCM, LogRhythm, AWS CloudWatch
- Ability to identify, analyze, and remediate security vulnerabilities
- Skilled at preparing technical documentation and security briefings
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Active Top Secret clearance is mandatory
