Pico is seeking a Software Engineer C/C++ to join their world-leading engineering team. This role involves working on the design and development of new features across Pico's entire product range, including Redline Trading Solutions and Corvil Analytics. The ideal candidate will have a BSc/MSc in a relevant Engineering discipline, proficiency in C development under Linux, and knowledge of multi-threaded application development. The role requires problem-solving skills, teamwork, and excellent communication abilities. Experience in Python, Java, IP networking, and knowledge of Financial trading concepts is desirable. This is a hybrid position with weekly time in the office, and the role may involve working across multiple jurisdictions including EMEA, USA, and APAC. Pico offers a competitive salary range of $95,000 - $125,000 USD for this position in New York. - Design and development of new features across Pico's entire product range
- Work on ultra-low latency market data and order execution solutions
- Solve problems encountered when normalizing and analyzing real-time data
- Bring technology into new markets and new deployment models
Requirements For Software Engineer C/C++
- BSc/MSc in a relevant Engineering discipline (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, etc)
- Proficiency in C development under Linux
- Knowledge of multi-threaded application development
- Team player - excels in a collaborative environment
- Focus on writing maintainable code
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- 1-3 years of experience working in a Tech firm, preferably in the financial space
