Junior Data & Automation Engineer

Pigment, a rapidly growing AI-powered business planning platform founded in 2019, is seeking a Junior Data & Automation Engineer to join their Business Automation team in Paris. With a team of 500+ across global offices and backing from top-tier investors, Pigment has raised nearly $400M and serves industry leaders like Unilever and Snowflake.

The role involves developing and maintaining automation solutions and data pipelines using Python, SQL, and various cloud technologies on GCP. You'll work on streamlining business processes, implementing data integrations, and supporting analytics projects. The tech stack includes BigQuery, Cloud Run, Cloud Composer (Airflow), dbt, Fivetran, and Hightouch.

As an ideal candidate, you'll need 2+ years of software development experience, strong Python skills, and solid understanding of SQL and cloud concepts. You'll work both independently on simple problems and collaboratively on complex cross-functional projects.
