Junior Security Engineer

Pigment, a rapidly growing AI-powered business planning platform founded in 2019, is seeking a Junior Security Engineer to join their team in Paris. With a global presence and backing from top-tier investors, Pigment serves industry leaders like Unilever, Snowflake, and Siemens. The role offers an exciting opportunity to work under the CISO's guidance within a team of experienced security engineers.

The position involves maintaining and improving security processes that protect Pigment's infrastructure, including shadow IT monitoring, platform security alerting, and SOC alert investigations. The ideal candidate will work across both production and internal IT environments, utilizing a modern tech stack including GCP, Kubernetes, and various security tools.

Working in a hybrid environment (minimum 3 days in office), you'll be part of a 500+ strong team across multiple global locations. The role offers competitive compensation (€40,000 - €53,000) plus equity, comprehensive health benefits through Alan Blue, and the opportunity to work in brand new offices in the heart of Paris.

Key responsibilities include security ticket management, process improvement, detection use case development, and cross-team collaboration. The ideal candidate should have some field experience (internship acceptable), strong security and development knowledge, and excellent communication skills in English.
