Full Stack Engineer - Remote

Piramidal is building a groundbreaking foundation model for electrophysiological brain data, with the mission of creating scaled neural decoders that enable humans to understand and control neural syntax. Our focus is on maximizing human potential while supporting cognitive liberty - the fundamental right to freedom of thought, mental privacy, and self-determination.

As a remote software engineer, you'll play a crucial role in strengthening and supporting Piramidal's platform products. This position offers the possibility of relocating to join our team in person within the next year. You'll be responsible for:

• Building and maintaining the infrastructure and backend systems for our flagship platform focused on neural data
• Working closely with the product team and internal customers to understand their needs and implement effective solutions
• Collaborating with ML engineers to iterate on applying our latest models

The ideal candidate should have:

• 2+ years of engineering experience at product-driven companies
• Strong proficiency in Python and other backend languages
• Expertise in containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Kubernetes)
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., Postgres/MySQL)
• Solid understanding of web technologies (e.g., JavaScript, React)
• Ability to work independently and move quickly

The interview process consists of:

1. Initial 30-minute screen to align on timelines, experience, and expectations
2. Technical screen (1:15h) involving live coding and system design via Google Meet
3. Product screen focusing on strategy, prioritization, and user needs
