As a Digital Workplace Engineer, you'll be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of the digital workplace infrastructure, providing technical support, managing endpoint devices, and enhancing user productivity through consistent and secure IT service delivery. The role combines technical expertise with customer service, requiring strong skills in Windows administration, Microsoft 365, and automation using PowerShell.

The ideal candidate brings 3-5 years of experience in IT support or workplace engineering, along with relevant Microsoft certifications. You'll work in a hybrid environment in Brussels, collaborating with a multicultural team in a fast-paced, innovative setting. Responsibilities For Digital Workplace Engineer

  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for end-users via ticketing systems, phone, and in-person channels
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to workplace hardware, software, printers, VPNs, Office 365, and collaboration tools
  • Configure and deploy laptops and user accounts for onboarding and manage offboarding processes
  • Manage endpoint configurations, patches, and policies using tools like Tanium, Intune
  • Create and maintain automation scripts (e.g., PowerShell) to improve support efficiency
  • Maintain accurate IT asset inventories and ensure compliance
  • Contribute to IT documentation, knowledge base articles, and user guides
  • Escalate unresolved issues appropriately and track tickets to resolution

Requirements For Digital Workplace Engineer

  • Degree in Information Technology or equivalent practical experience
  • 3-5 years in IT support or workplace engineering roles
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and networking fundamentals
  • Hands-on experience with endpoint management tools
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell
  • Experience with ticketing systems like ServiceNow or Jira
  • Fluent in French or Dutch, with English being mandatory
  • Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102)
  • Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate (MD-100 & MD-101)
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals (MS-900) - strongly recommended
