The Sales Engineer role is a crucial position bridging technical expertise with sales acumen. As a Sales Engineer, you'll be the technical subject matter expert in the sales process, responsible for qualifying opportunities, assessing customer requirements, and presenting Promise's solutions to both business and technical audiences. The role requires a unique blend of technical knowledge and communication skills, as you'll be crafting implementation proposals, responding to RFPs, and ensuring customer requirements are effectively communicated to the product team.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of solutions engineering experience, preferably with exposure to government agencies and utility companies. You'll need strong technical fundamentals, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into tangible benefits for customers. Requirements For Sales Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in solutions engineering or similar role
  • Experience working with government agencies, utility companies, and large institutions
  • Experience integrating with legacy/enterprise software systems
  • Strong understanding of technical concepts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to engage with executive, business, and technical audiences
  • Willingness to travel 25-50% of the time
