Responsibilities For Pre-Sales Systems Engineer, Federal Civilian
- Develop understanding of customer's business drivers and decision making
- Partner with account managers and channel partners to create customer experience
- Deliver technical product and architecture presentations
- Lead evaluations, benchmarks and system configurations
- Contribute to RFPs, RFQs and RFIs
- Capture requirements and translate customer needs into solutions
- Stay current with competition and market trends
- Liaise with product and technical marketing teams
Requirements For Pre-Sales Systems Engineer, Federal Civilian
- BS in CS, EE or other technical degree and/or equivalent experience
- Pre-sales experience required
- 5+ years of relevant experience in technology, design, and communications
- Deep understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing solutions
- Superior knowledge of storage architectures (FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, SAN)
- Experience with Linux, NFS file systems and Linux distributed network environment
- Strong knowledge of digital transformation to Cloud Native architecture
- Knowledge of VMware, Local Area Networking, Ethernet, TCP/IP
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills
