This role requires 5 days per week onsite and focuses on ASIC engineering, where you'll be responsible for defining, modeling, designing, and optimizing IP development for high-performance, high-quality, low-power products. The position demands extensive experience in ASIC design, verification, and validation, with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. You'll work with cutting-edge technology, collaborating across functional teams to develop implementation strategies that meet system requirements and customer needs. Responsibilities For CPU Physical Design Engineer, Senior/Staff/Sr Staff - Cork, Ireland
- Define, model, design, optimize, verify, validate, implement, and document IP development
- Create advanced architectures, circuit specifications, logic designs, and system simulations
- Collaborate across functional teams to develop implementation strategies
- Evaluate complex process flow from high-level design to synthesis
- Utilize tools/applications to execute architecture and design of complex blocks/SoC
- Write detailed technical documentation
- Provide supervision/guidance to other team members
Requirements For CPU Physical Design Engineer, Senior/Staff/Sr Staff - Cork, Ireland
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of ASIC design experience
- Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science preferred
- 9+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration experience preferred
- 3+ years of experience with architecture and design tools
- 3+ years of experience with scripting tools and programming languages
- 3+ years of experience with design verification methods
- 2+ years of work experience interacting with senior leadership
