Description For Embedded Engineer – XR Research

Qualcomm XR Research India is expanding its team to develop cutting-edge XR solutions. As an Embedded Engineer in the XR Research team, you'll be at the forefront of developing next-generation technologies for Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and Mixed Reality (MR). Responsibilities For Embedded Engineer – XR Research

  • Design and develop highly optimized embedded software/firmware using C, C++ language on Windows/Android/Linux
  • Coordinate with stakeholders in consolidating and defining reference/prototype device requirements
  • Bring up new camera sensors and IMU sensors
  • Work with ID design and electronics team in building reference/prototype devices
  • Drive next-generation technologies and architectures for AR/VR/MR use cases

Requirements For Embedded Engineer – XR Research

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
  • 1+ years' experience with C++ Programming Language and embedded device development
  • Strong understanding of embedded hardware & driver concepts
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player who can function well with minimum supervision
