Job Description

Qualcomm is seeking a GPU Performance Verification Engineer for their Cork, Ireland location to work on next-generation Adreno GPUs. This role is crucial for the Snapdragon platforms, including the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite and Snapdragon X Elite. The position focuses on verifying and optimizing GPU performance across gaming, compute, and AI workloads.

The role involves working with cutting-edge technology delivering up to 4.6 TFLOPS of GPU compute and supporting real-time ray tracing, 240 FPS mobile gaming, and AI-powered graphics enhancements. The Adreno GPU is integrated with Qualcomm's AI Engine, enabling real-time, on-device AI applications across vision, language, and audio processing.

As a GPU Performance Verification Engineer, you'll be responsible for identifying and resolving architectural bottlenecks, collaborating with GPU Design and Architecture teams, and ensuring optimal performance across various use cases. The position requires strong technical expertise in ASIC Design/Verification, System Verilog/UVM, and computer architecture.

Requirements For GPU Performance Verification Engineer - Cork, Ireland

Python
  • 4+ years in ASIC Design and/or Verification with strong System Verilog/UVM foundation
  • Experience with UVM-based verification environments
  • Proficiency in simulation or emulation platforms
  • Solid understanding of Computer/GPU architecture, memory subsystem and pipeline analysis
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field with 2+ years experience
  • Expertise in data visualization and analytics using Python
