This role sits at the intersection of hardware engineering and software development, focusing on PDK development across Custom, Analog, and RF technology nodes. The position requires expertise in both electrical engineering fundamentals and software development, with a strong emphasis on automation and tool development.
The role involves working closely with Custom, Analog & RF Engineering design teams to develop and support various design tools and workflows. Key responsibilities include creating automation solutions for Schematic & Layout design, Circuit Simulation, IP characterization, and transistor-level EM/IR flows. The successful candidate will also collaborate with Foundry and EDA partners to implement cutting-edge tools and develop in-house solutions for improving design methodology.
