Job Description

Qualcomm is seeking a Product & Test Development Engineer to join their PMIC team in San Diego. This role is part of the Product Development and Test Engineering group, which develops test solutions for design verification of leading-edge technologies and highly integrated radio frequency transceivers, power management, and mixed signal ASICs.

The position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge semiconductor technology while collaborating with cross-functional teams including Design, System, Foundry, Program Management, Yield, Reliability, Marketing, Sales, and Manufacturing. The role combines hardware and software development, requiring expertise in both test interface hardware design and test software development.

Key responsibilities include designing and debugging test interface hardware, developing test programs, performing HW/SW integration, and conducting device characterization. The engineer will also be responsible for data analysis, product documentation, and driving failure analysis to completion. The position requires a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles and hands-on experience with laboratory equipment.

Qualcomm offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $94,200 to $141,200, along with annual bonuses and RSU grants. Requirements For Product & Test Development Engineer, PMIC

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field
  • Knowledge of Semiconductor manufacturing process
  • Understanding of electronics engineering fundamentals
  • Knowledge of PMIC measurement techniques
  • Lab equipment proficiency (Oscilloscopes, Source Meters, etc.)
  • Strong software skills (VB, Python, Perl)
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
