Qualcomm ADAS/Autonomy team is seeking engineers with experience in system and SoC SW level functional safety concepts. The role involves safety management, understanding and defining Safety Concept and Architecture, Software Safety requirements, defining and deploying safety processes, and developing Safety software following ISO26262 processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading safety activities for complex SoC software
- Engaging with stakeholders within the development organization, partners, and customers
- Functional safety management and architecture in the Automotive Domain
- Safety software architecture specification and requirements definition
- Safety plan creation and execution
- Ensuring adherence to ISO26262 and ASPICE processes
The ideal candidate will have:
- 15+ years of industry experience in embedded software, especially in the automotive domain
- Minimum 4 years' experience with ISO26262 (Part 6 specifically)
- Excellent understanding of functional safety software processes
- Experience in Safety Analysis (FMEA, DFA, FTA)
- Strong background in SoC architecture, ARM architecture, and low-level BSP Software/drivers
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming
- Knowledge of ASPICE and other quality standards
- Experience with static analysis and code coverage tools
