Responsibilities For Staff Embedded Software Development Engineer

  • Lead, plan, and synthesize requirements for embedded software design and development
  • Design, develop, integrate, test, and debug real-time embedded software
  • Work with embedded RTOS environment and microcontroller firmware
  • Develop and debug platforms including on-target development
  • Identify and implement tools to improve software development process
  • Provide support on customer issues
  • Create engineering documentation and technical specifications

Requirements For Staff Embedded Software Development Engineer

Linux
  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field and 3 years experience
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in related field and 7 years progressive experience
  • Experience with embedded systems and real-time software development
  • Knowledge of communication protocols and wireless technologies (3G, 4G, 5G)
  • Experience with embedded RTOS environments
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
