Responsibilities For Staff Modem SW RF Firmware Engineer
- Lead and plan complex modem knowledge implementation
- Design, implement, verify, validate, and commercialize Wireless cellular modem air interface RAN technologies
- Work on RF SW design, optimizations & algorithms
- Define modem HW APIs, core systems algorithms, and HW/SW/co-processor architecture
- Develop models, code, and simulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Develop test environments and comprehensive test plans
- Write detailed technical documentation
- Participate in design reviews and project meetings
Requirements For Staff Modem SW RF Firmware Engineer
- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field
- OR Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of experience
- Advanced knowledge of RF specifications
- Experience with wireless Radio software implementation
- Knowledge of multi-RAT (Radio Access Technology)
- Understanding of 3GPP with LTE and 5GNR
- Ability to design, implement, verify, and validate modem technologies
