Senior Software Developer

Quick Release is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join their "Special Projects" team, which serves as the company's in-house software development center of excellence. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative tools and tackle data challenges in the automotive sector.

The position involves developing products directly for clients, creating tools to support Analysts and Consultants, and building internal software solutions to optimize business operations. The role requires 1-2 days per week working from a QR office, client site, or shared workspace, offering a flexible hybrid working arrangement.

The technical stack is comprehensive and modern, including Python, Django, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Terraform, AWS, Docker, Postgres, Redis, and GitHub Actions. The team also maintains some legacy systems using VBA, C#, and R, providing variety in the technical challenges you'll face.

As a Senior Software Developer, you'll be instrumental in delivering high-quality software solutions while helping to accelerate processes and grow the team's technical capabilities. The role combines hands-on development with leadership responsibilities, including mentoring less experienced team members and contributing to the team's knowledge base.

Quick Release offers a competitive salary range of £55k - £67k, depending on experience and skillset.
