Rackspace Technology, a leading multicloud solutions provider, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their team in India. As a Sr DevOps Engineer, you'll be responsible for architecting and automating AWS environments, creating custom templates and modules, and ensuring the integrity of cloud infrastructure. You'll work with various technologies including Terraform, Kubernetes, and multiple programming languages while implementing CI/CD practices.
The ideal candidate should have 5-8 years of experience in IT and AWS Cloud & DevOps tools, along with relevant AWS certifications. Strong technical expertise in infrastructure as code, automation, and cloud services is essential. The role requires both technical depth and customer-facing skills, as you'll be educating customers on best practices and architecture.

Responsibilities For Sr DEVOP Engineer (Ref:PS AWS Terraform)-PSDE II
- Automate deployments utilizing custom templates and modules for customer environments on AWS
- Architect AWS environment best practices and deployment methodologies
- Create automation tools and processes to improve day to day functions
- Educate customers on AWS and Rackspace best practices and architecture
- Ensure the control, integrity, and accessibility of the cloud environment for the enterprise
- Lead Workload/Workforce Management and Optimization related tasks
- Assist Rackers across the Cloud Function
Requirements For Sr DEVOP Engineer (Ref:PS AWS Terraform)-PSDE II
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree
- 5-8 Years of total IT experience
- 5-8 Years of experience on AWS Cloud & DevOps tools
- Associate level Certificates in AWS or professional level certificate
- Near expert knowledge of AWS Products & Services
- Proficient skills in Python, Linux, Shell scripting
- Proficient skills with git and git workflows
- Excellent working knowledge of Windows or Linux operating systems
- Highly skilled in Terraform/IaC, including CI/CD practices
- Working knowledge in Kubernetes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in 24*7 environments and on non-traditional shifts
