Site Reliability Engineer / Observability Engineer III (Fixed Night Shift Role)

Rackspace is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer for a fixed night shift role to join their Cloud Infrastructure Services team. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining system reliability, availability, and performance for both customers and internal teams.

The role combines traditional SRE responsibilities with a strong focus on observability and monitoring. You'll be working with cutting-edge technologies including AWS services, Terraform for infrastructure as code, and various monitoring solutions like Splunk. The position requires expertise in system reliability, performance optimization, and the ability to implement robust automation solutions.

As an SRE III, you'll collaborate closely with product development and platform engineering teams to build scalable systems. Your responsibilities will include implementing monitoring tools, analyzing metrics, and proactively detecting and resolving issues before they impact customers. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in DevOps engineering roles, with strong expertise in AWS technologies, infrastructure as code, and monitoring solutions.
