Your role involves developing and extending automated testing systems, ensuring software quality and reliability through effective automation strategies. You'll work with complex software controlling electromechanical systems, robotics, and precision optical technologies. This position requires a strong analytical and problem-solving skillset, willingness to learn, and understanding of software/hardware testing methodologies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and optimizing automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing
- Defining test strategies, plans, and requirements
- Identifying areas for process improvements and automation enhancements
- Debugging software and performing root cause analysis on defects
- Creating and maintaining documentation for test automation processes
- Estimating, planning, and coordinating testing activities
- Collaborating with the Software team and other stakeholders

Responsibilities For Software Test Automation Engineer II
- Develop, maintain, and optimize automated test scripts

Requirements For Software Test Automation Engineer II
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with test automation tools (Selenium WebDriver, REST Assured, JUnit, TestNG)
- Ability to design, develop, and implement automated testing methods in an Agile environment
- Experience with change control and tracking systems (Agile, Jira, Azure DevOps)
- Available for a hybrid work arrangement (three days in Lexington, MA office)
