Founding Backend Software Engineer

Rebolt is revolutionizing the no-code platform space by enabling companies to create and deploy custom full-stack applications through AI interaction. As a Founding Backend Software Engineer, you'll be instrumental in building their cutting-edge AI agent platform from ground up.

The role offers unique opportunities to work directly with AI/ML systems, web agents, and full-stack development while helping shape the technical architecture of a YC-backed startup. You'll be responsible for architecting and shipping core services that power multi-agent AI workflows, including RESTful APIs, scalable data models, and robust deployment tools.

The ideal candidate brings 2+ years of backend engineering experience with strong Computer Science foundations. Proficiency in Python and TypeScript is required, along with experience with FastAPI and/or NextJS. Deep understanding of various database types (KV, SQL, Document based) and their optimization is crucial.

Key responsibilities include:

• Owning the development of core services and APIs
• Troubleshooting production issues
• Mentoring peers on system design
• Working directly with customers to diagnose and solve pain points
• Building and maintaining deployment and debugging tools
