Senior iOS Engineer, Emerging Markets

Reddit is seeking a Senior iOS Engineer for their International Emerging Markets team. This role focuses on bringing Reddit to billions of people in markets like India, Brazil, and the Philippines. As a key member of the emerging markets team, you'll work on high-impact initiatives across all Reddit product surfaces, helping the next 500 million Redditors find communities, belonging, and empowerment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and ship iOS features, experiments, and products for millions of users
• Communicate effectively within the team and across disciplines
• Contribute to team strategy and planning
• Participate in product reviews and technical discussions
• Work through the full development cycle: design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch
• Mentor other engineers and contribute to best practices

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional iOS development experience using Swift
• Expertise in Swift and Objective-C
• Familiarity with software engineering best practices
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Experience with other programming languages (Java, Python, Go, Rust, C++) is a plus
• Knowledge of GraphQL, REST, and API design is beneficial
