Description For Electrical Engineer (Winter/Spring/Summer 2025 Internship)

Reliable Robotics is at the forefront of revolutionizing aviation with their innovative safety-enhancing technology. As an Avionics Hardware Development Intern, you'll be part of a mission-driven team working on automated aircraft systems that will transform air transportation.

Located in Mountain View, California, this internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the design, development, and testing of complex avionics hardware. You'll be involved in cutting-edge projects that combine aerospace, robotics, and automation technologies.

Your responsibilities will include electronics prototyping, circuit board design, and wiring design. You'll also engage in prototype bring-up, debugging, functional verification, and signal characterization. Additionally, you'll create crucial documentation for manufacturing and testing procedures.

The ideal candidate is pursuing a degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field, with at least 2 years of undergraduate studies. Experience with Altium Designer, circuit work, and programming languages like C, C++, and Python is highly valued.   • Design, development, and test of avionics and ground hardware
  • Electronics prototyping, circuit board design, wiring design, prototype bring-up and debugging, functional verification, and signal characterization
  • Create manufacturing and test documentation/procedures supporting avionics equipment build, test, and environmental qualification

Requirements For Electrical Engineer (Winter/Spring/Summer 2025 Internship)

Python
  • Enrollment in an electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent 4-year or post-graduate degree program
  • 2+ years of undergraduate studies
  • Experience with Altium Designer (or similar)
  • Experience with circuit bring up, rework, debug, and test
  • Experience designing and/or building cable harnesses and interconnect systems
  • Working understanding of programming or scripting languages (C, C++, Python)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
