Job Description
ResMed, a global leader in connected healthcare devices and digital health solutions, is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join their Devices Systems Team in Singapore. The role is part of the Product Development department, specifically within the Diagnostics Product Team, which focuses on developing solutions for sleep disorders and health monitoring. The position involves working with cross-functional teams including Electronics, Mechanical, Software/Algorithm, and V&V Teams to enhance diagnostic capabilities within their device portfolio.
The role requires a strong systems engineering background with experience in medical device development. You'll be responsible for requirements engineering, risk assessments, design architecture, and ensuring product compliance with global regulations. Responsibilities For Senior Systems Engineer
- Decompose Design Inputs to write requirements, conduct risk assessments and manage traceability
- Coordinate and collaborate with design and engineering disciplines to architect and develop design outputs
- Support design architecture and interface design for device integration
- Develop and maintain risk management activities
- Support root cause analysis and technical issue resolution
- Communicate technical delivery milestones and risks to stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to systems engineering principles and quality system processes
Requirements For Senior Systems Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Electronic/Electrical, Mechanical, or Software Engineering
- Senior level experience in medical device space
- Excellent communication, documentation, and technical writing skills
- Familiarity with medical device development processes and risk management
- Experience with hardware and software/algorithm development
- Proficiency in JIRA, JAMA, Confluence
- Natural collaborator, systems thinker, analytical and empathetic
