Software Test Engineer

ResMed's Global Technology Solutions (GTS) division is seeking a Software Test Engineer to join their Digital Health Technology team in Hyderabad. This role is crucial in ensuring the quality of systems supporting ResMed's manufacturing processes through digital transformation. As part of an Agile team, you'll be responsible for comprehensive testing of custom applications integrated with Oracle SCM modules.
The position requires expertise in software testing for SaaS applications, with a focus on manufacturing execution systems and Oracle integrations. You'll lead test efforts across geographies, define testing strategies, and ensure compliance with industry standards including GMP, GDPR, and SOX requirements.

Responsibilities For Software Test Engineer
- Operate as part of multiple Agile Scrum teams and lead test efforts across geographies
- Define testing strategy and plans to ensure product quality meets industry standards
- Analyze requirements and prepare test scenarios across tech stack (UI/API/Database)
- Execute test cases and manage defect reporting process
- Status reporting of test progress and metrics to stakeholders
- Plan and coordinate UAT testing with business users
- Support sites in other time zones as needed
Requirements For Software Test Engineer
- 3+ years software testing experience for SaaS applications
- Experience with custom applications integrated with Oracle SCM modules
- Knowledge of requirement and test case management tools (Jira, Zephyr Scale, Confluence, Jama)
- Familiarity with entire software development life cycle and test cycles
- Excellent interpersonal, communication & documentation skills in English
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice, Privacy (GDPR), IT security, and SOX compliance
- Experience in supporting ERP implementation
- Must be a fast learner, independent, and self-starter
