Responsibilities For Senior Software Engineer - Hextech, Gameplay

  • Design, build, and maintain software systems with a focus on quality, reliability, and maintainability
  • Uphold a high standard of engineering excellence. Participate in code reviews, write unit/integration tests
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, producers, and other engineers
  • Debug and resolve issues in live environments and development pipelines
  • Write clear documentation and communicate technical details across disciplines
  • Participates in the on-call rotation; resolves live incidents & proposes solutions in RCAs
  • Provide mentorship to more junior members of the team

Requirements For Senior Software Engineer - Hextech, Gameplay

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a comparable field, or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years experience in professional software development
  • 3+ years of professional experience and proficiency with C++
  • Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, concurrency, etc.)
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating across disciplines
