Riverlane, a pioneering quantum computing company, is seeking a Senior Field Application Engineer specializing in embedded software development to join their team in Cambridge, UK. This role is critical in implementing Riverlane's quantum error correction stack (Deltaflow) for partners and customers across Europe.
The position offers a competitive salary range of £62,000 to £80,000, depending on experience, with flexible full-time or part-time options available. As a Senior FAE, you'll be at the forefront of quantum computing technology, working with a diverse team of physicists, software engineers, and hardware engineers on cutting-edge projects.
Your primary responsibilities will include leading the installation and integration of Deltaflow into partner systems, working with multi-FPGA, low-latency, high-throughput systems. You'll provide both on-site and remote support, develop and debug embedded software, and work with Linux and bare-metal applications. The role requires approximately 20% travel within the UK and Europe.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience in embedded software development, excellent communication skills, and deep expertise in C++ or C and Python. You'll work in a collaborative environment that values continuous learning and innovation, with access to training and conference opportunities.
