Senior Engineer, Software - Rust Developer

Rockwell Automation, a global leader in industrial automation with over 28,000 employees, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Rust development for their Prague office. This role is part of their initiative to design and implement cloud and edge back-end software used globally in industrial automation.

The position offers a hybrid work model in modern offices in Praha 7, Holešovice, where you'll be part of an international team collaborating with engineering groups worldwide. The team follows Agile methodology (scrum/SAFe) and works with cutting-edge technologies in a CI/CD environment.

As a senior developer, you'll be instrumental in shaping the development of cloud and edge back-end software, working with containerized solutions using Docker and Kubernetes. The role requires expertise in Rust programming or a strong commitment to becoming proficient in it. You'll be involved in the full software development lifecycle, from planning and design to implementation and maintenance.

The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience with cloud-based containerized solutions and a year of experience in designing backend microservices. Knowledge of TypeScript, API development, and experience with distributed teams would be advantageous.
