Senior AI Engineer

ROCKWOOL, the global leader in stone wool solutions, is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join their AI Center of Excellence in Hedehusene, Denmark. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of AI implementation in manufacturing, with approximately 10% travel required for global projects. The position involves developing and deploying custom AI products and analytics solutions, working with cutting-edge technologies including LLMs, vector databases, and cloud platforms. As part of a growing global Data & AI team, you'll collaborate with colleagues across Denmark, Poland, and Malaysia.

The role combines technical expertise in AI/ML with practical software engineering, requiring strong skills in Python, SQL, and modern AI frameworks. You'll be responsible for developing custom GenAI products, maintaining LLM solutions, and establishing best practices for AI implementation across the organization. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of AI experience and 2+ years specifically in LLM-related technologies.
