(Senior) AI Engineer

ROCKWOOL, a global leader in stone wool solutions, is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join their Data Science & Engineering team in Malaysia. This role is at the forefront of AI and machine learning, focusing on developing and maintaining custom AI products and GenAI solutions. The position involves working with teams across Denmark and Poland as part of a larger global Data Science & Engineering team.

The role combines technical expertise in Data Science, Generative AI, and backend implementation of AI systems. You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining custom AI products, including in-house GPT solutions, building RAG pipelines, and working with various cloud technologies including Azure and Google Cloud Platform.

As a Senior AI Engineer, you'll work closely with Data Scientists and ML engineers to deliver AI/ML products and analytics solutions. Key responsibilities include programming in Python, working with cloud technologies, maintaining GenAI products, developing AI APIs, and ensuring optimal performance of AI systems.

The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in data science with cloud services, strong Python programming skills, and experience with tools like Langchain and Azure OpenAI. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is required, with a Master's degree being advantageous.
