Fullstack Product Engineer

SafetyKit is at the forefront of trust and safety technology, leveraging language models to solve complex challenges for major companies like Upwork, Faire, Patreon, Character.ai, Substack, and Eventbrite. We're seeking a Fullstack Product Engineer to join our rapidly growing team in San Francisco.

As a Fullstack Product Engineer, you'll be instrumental in shaping the next generation of AI-powered trust and safety solutions. You'll work on building robust infrastructure for LLM evaluation, web crawling, and document ingestion, while directly engaging with users to understand and implement their complex policy requirements through sophisticated language model decision flows.

The role demands someone who's not just technically proficient but also deeply interested in user experience and problem-solving. You'll be working with modern technologies including TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and AWS serverless services, while having the opportunity to experiment with and deploy cutting-edge AI technologies.

We offer a streamlined interview process and value quick decision-making. The position comes with competitive compensation ($150K – $225K) plus equity (0.25% – 0.75%). You'll be working from our San Francisco office, where you'll collaborate directly with our team to build products that our users love.
