Lead ML / MLOps Engineer

Salesforce is seeking an experienced Lead / Staff Machine Learning Engineer to join their Marketing AI/ML Algorithms and Applications team. As a Lead ML / MLOps Engineer, you will:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of ML model pipelines
• Implement infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, monitoring, and automation for ML operations
• Own the MLOps lifecycle and establish best practices
• Collaborate with Data Science, Data Engineering, Product, and Marketing teams
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers

Key responsibilities include:

• Defining and driving the overall technical ML engineering strategy
• Implementing ML pipelines and infrastructure at scale
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align ML solutions with business goals
• Staying at the forefront of ML and data technologies

This role requires:

• MS or PhD in Computer Science, AI/ML, Software Engineering, or related field
• 8+ years of experience building and deploying ML model pipelines at scale
• Expert-level knowledge of containerization, orchestration, and workflow management technologies
• Advanced Python skills and proficiency in ML frameworks
• Experience with cloud-based ML platforms and MLOps best practices
