Slack, a part of Salesforce, is seeking a Senior Solution Engineer to revolutionize how customers collaborate and get work done. As a Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for building solutions that transform work processes by building relationships with key executives, selling directly to IT and business leaders, while also owning the technical elements of a value-oriented sales cycle.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with Account Executives to drive complex, multi-stakeholder deal cycles across industries
- Driving the discovery process to uncover customer pains and align with business objectives
- Preparing and delivering high-impact presentations and demonstrations
- Designing Slack-based solutions that drive value and significant business impact
- Guiding customers through the evaluation process of Slack
- Contributing to the success of a rapidly growing SE organization
- Acting as a liaison between Product, Marketing, and Sales
The ideal candidate should have:
- 2+ years of sales engineering or solution consulting experience in a SaaS organization
- Experience positioning Slack for software engineering teams and at least one other LOB or industry
- Excellent communication skills and ability to deliver compelling presentations
- A consultative approach to solving customer business challenges
- Familiarity with the enterprise SaaS ecosystem
- Ability to thrive in a rapidly evolving product and market
