Description For Software Engineering MTS

Salesforce is seeking a Lead Software Engineer for their Terraform Infrastructure Developer Experience (TIDE) team within the Hyperforce program. This role focuses on transforming the developer experience by building cutting-edge tooling and simplifying workflows for cloud infrastructure deployment. As part of a remote-first team across the US, you'll be instrumental in creating a unified developer experience across multiple cloud providers.

The TIDE team is dedicated to making public cloud accessibility straightforward for developers through technologies like Golang, Terraform, AWS, Kubernetes, and Spinnaker. You'll be responsible for developing production-grade tooling that enables developers to deploy infrastructure efficiently. The role involves leading the design and development of Terraform resources, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and implementing solutions that work seamlessly across various cloud providers.

This position offers an opportunity to work at the forefront of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) development, where you'll influence how developers interact with cloud resources. You'll provide technical leadership, conduct code reviews, and establish standard processes while working with teams across different time zones. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in DevOps practices, cloud technologies, and excellent communication skills.

Working at Salesforce means joining a company that's revolutionizing the way businesses handle customer relationships. You'll be part of a team that values innovation, independent thinking, and proactive problem-solving. The role offers competitive compensation and the flexibility of a remote-first environment, making it an excellent opportunity for experienced DevOps engineers looking to make a significant impact in cloud infrastructure development.
