Senior Automation Engineer I, Mobile and Web

Samsara, a pioneer in Connected Operations™ Cloud technology (NYSE: IOT), is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer I to join their Quality Automation and Engineering (QAE) team. This role is crucial in driving product quality through test engineering, automation, and data analysis.

The position focuses on ensuring the quality and stability of Samsara's iOS and Android applications through designing and building scalable test automation frameworks. As a Senior Mobile Automation Engineer, you'll work with tools like Appium, Detox, Espresso, and XCUITest, while writing tests in languages such as Java, Kotlin, Swift, JavaScript, or Python.

The role offers an opportunity to impact industries that power the global economy, working with over 2.3 million IoT devices deployed to customers worldwide. You'll collaborate closely with engineering teams, product managers, and participate in customer interviews to ensure quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities include maintaining test reliability, integrating with CI/CD pipelines, troubleshooting UI and performance issues, and monitoring automation performance. The position requires 5+ years of test automation experience, with at least 3 years focused on mobile platforms.

This remote position is open to candidates residing in the US, except for the San Francisco Bay Metro Area, NYC Metro Area, and Washington, D.C. Metro Area.
