Senior Software Engineer - STCE New Products

Samsara (NYSE: IOT) is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their STCE New Products team, working on the next generation of high-impact, high-volume products that digitize physical operations. As a pioneer of the Connected Operations™ Cloud, Samsara helps improve the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of operations across industries like transportation, logistics, construction, and manufacturing.

In this role, you'll be instrumental in building solutions that connect IoT devices, sensor data, and real-time workflows. Working closely with Product Management, Design, and GTM teams, you'll not only execute but help define product direction. The position offers a unique opportunity to work on products that have real-world impact - from keeping lights on to ensuring food reaches grocery stores and workers return home safely.

The role requires 8+ years of experience and combines technical expertise with customer-focused product development. You'll be working in a fast-paced, feedback-driven environment, engaging directly with customers and sales teams to inform rapid iterations. The position is remote-friendly within the US, with up to 10% travel for customer visits and field engagement.

Key responsibilities include architecting and building "0 to 1" software products, tackling complex problems across the full stack, and partnering with product leadership to define impactful features. You'll be joining the team that developed Samsara's Asset Tag and will be instrumental in creating the next big innovation.

The compensation package includes a competitive base salary range of $126,140 - $212,000 USD, along with comprehensive benefits including health coverage, flexible working arrangements, and participation in the Samsara for Good charity fund.
