Software Co-op: Machine Learning Operations (Fall 2024)

As a co-op student, you'll work closely with the Data Collection and ML Operations Lead, gaining comprehensive understanding of data collection pipelines and the processes involved in training, testing, deploying, and optimizing machine learning models for general-purpose robots. This role is perfect for candidates with strong software development and machine learning skills, as well as experience in model deployment and optimization.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building and operating data collection and machine learning pipelines
• Expanding engineering experience in both cloud and on-premise systems
• Partnering with simulation and ML research teams to enhance robot learning capabilities
• Converting cutting-edge ML research into production deployment

The ideal candidate should be pursuing a degree in computer science or a related field, with strong Python skills and experience in ML model training and deployment. Familiarity with observability stacks, ML Ops platforms, and robotics (ROS) is highly valued.
