Responsibilities For Senior SDET - Software Engineer in Test
- Develop, maintain, and continually improve the product tests
- Design, refine, and enhance automation frameworks, tools, and test scenarios
- Collaborate with development and product teams to understand new features
- Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and deliver insightful reports
- Participate actively throughout the Software Development Life Cycle
- Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation
- Develop test environments and generate relevant test data
- Promote best practices for automation, testing, and code quality
- Support continuous integration efforts
- Review developer deliverables from a product and quality perspective
Requirements For Senior SDET - Software Engineer in Test
- Proven experience in automated testing, including designing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks
- Strong programming skills in at least one language such as JavaScript, Java, or Python
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks like Cypress.io, Playwright, or Selenium
- Expertise in testing RESTful APIs and understanding of API automation best practices
- Solid understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines
- Deep knowledge of QA methodologies, testing strategies, and quality best practices
- Ability to create and manipulate test environments and generate relevant test data
