As an Interface Developer, you'll play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining technical connectivity between various healthcare systems. Responsibilities For Interface Developer

  • Establishing interface connectivity via APIs, VPNs, SFTP, or web services
  • Transforming messages using standards like DICOM, HL7, FHIR, JSON, HTML, and XML
  • Managing database changes to support new interface builds
  • Building uni-directional and bi-directional interfaces for clinical workflows
  • Working with team members to define interface requirements
  • Participating in project management and status updates
  • Performing unit testing on interface builds
  • Implementing best practices across solutions

Requirements For Interface Developer

  • Experience with healthcare IT applications (EHR, EMR, RIS, LIS, PACS)
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare IT standards (HL7, FHIR, SNOMED, LOINC, DICOM)
  • Experience with interface connectivity methods
  • Experience with Rhapsody interoperability engine
  • Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
  • AWS experience (VPC and EC2) preferred
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
