This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of technology and creative arts, developing sophisticated pipeline solutions for both Houdini and Maya workflows. The position involves creating intuitive systems that leverage USD and Solaris as a backbone, enabling artists to work efficiently on complex visual effects projects.

The ideal candidate will bring 8+ years of Python development experience in either Houdini or Maya pipeline development, combining technical expertise with a deep understanding of production workflows. As part of Netflix's technology ecosystem, you'll have access to cutting-edge infrastructure and resources to push the boundaries of what's possible in visual effects pipeline development. The role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects for both Netflix and other major clients, contributing to groundbreaking visual effects work across multiple international studios.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 - $170,000 for the Vancouver location, with compensation varying based on experience and location. Working in a hybrid environment, you'll collaborate with talented teams across multiple global studios, including locations in London, Los Angeles, Montreal, Seoul, and Mumbai.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who combines strong technical skills with a passion for visual effects, and who thrives on solving complex technical challenges while supporting creative workflows.
