Senior Pipeline Developer (Houdini)

Scanline VFX, an award-winning leader in visual effects with global presence and Netflix backing, is seeking a Senior Pipeline Developer specializing in Houdini. This role is perfect for an experienced developer who combines technical expertise with creative understanding of VFX workflows. The position involves building sophisticated pipeline solutions using USD and Solaris, creating intuitive workflows for artists of varying skill levels, and handling complex scene management.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in Houdini pipeline development, strong Python programming skills, and preferably a background in FX artistry. You'll be working at the intersection of technical development and creative production, creating solutions that enable artists to work more efficiently with complex visual effects systems.

As part of Scanline VFX, you'll join a company known for pushing boundaries in visual effects, working on projects for Netflix and other major clients. The role offers the opportunity to work in a hybrid setting in Vancouver, with a competitive salary range of $100,000 - $170,000 per year.
