RedHat Openshift Engineer - FORGE

SciTec, a dynamic small business focused on national security and defense, is seeking a RedHat Openshift Engineer for their Boulder, CO location. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on advanced sensor data processing technologies and scientific instrumentation capabilities supporting the Department of Defense and U.S. Government.

The position requires expertise in designing, deploying, and managing RedHat Openshift deployments across various environments, including on-premises, hybrid, and cloud. The ideal candidate will bring strong collaborative abilities and mentoring experience, along with superior problem-solving skills. Key responsibilities include implementing Openshift deployments, automating infrastructure, and maintaining technical documentation.

This role offers competitive compensation ranging from $93,000 to $143,000 annually, along with an impressive benefits package including ESOP, 401(k) with company contribution, comprehensive health insurance, and flexible work arrangements. The position requires U.S. citizenship due to security clearance requirements.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience with Kubernetes/Openshift and 3 years with Linux systems, plus strong knowledge of Ansible and Infrastructure as Code. Additional preferred qualifications include experience with CI/CD solutions, Docker, and system hardening using DISA SCAP and STIGViewer.
