This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on advanced sensor data processing technologies and scientific instrumentation capabilities supporting the Department of Defense and U.S. Government.

The position requires expertise in designing, deploying, and managing RedHat Openshift deployments across various environments, including on-premises, hybrid, and cloud. The ideal candidate will bring strong collaborative abilities and mentoring experience, along with superior problem-solving skills. Key responsibilities include implementing Openshift deployments, automating infrastructure, and maintaining technical documentation.

This role offers competitive compensation ranging from $93,000 to $143,000 annually, along with an impressive benefits package including ESOP, 401(k) with company contribution, comprehensive health insurance, and flexible work arrangements. The position requires U.S. citizenship due to security clearance requirements.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience with Kubernetes/Openshift and 3 years with Linux systems, plus strong knowledge of Ansible and Infrastructure as Code. Additional preferred qualifications include experience with CI/CD solutions, Docker, and system hardening using DISA SCAP and STIGViewer.

Responsibilities For RedHat Openshift Engineer - FORGE

  • Design and implement RedHat Openshift deployments to meet customer requirements
  • Automate deployments from the infrastructure level to the platform level
  • Configure and install software, servers, routers and other network devices
  • Resolve issues tiers of support have escalated by troubleshooting deployed, cloud, and local deployments
  • Mentor team members on technical issues
  • Communicate with users to design and field optimal solutions
  • Maintain complete technical documentation

Requirements For RedHat Openshift Engineer - FORGE

Kubernetes

  • At least two years of professional experience building and maintaining Kubernetes environments with Redhat Openshift Container Platform version 4+
  • At least three years of professional experience using Linux operating systems
  • Strong understanding of Ansible playbooks
  • Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
  • Detail oriented
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • U.S. citizenship required
