The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing complex datacenter operations, including VMware environments, SAN storage solutions, and advanced networking configurations.

Responsibilities For Senior Data Center Engineer
- Recommend and follow technical standards for data center configuration
- Document technical configurations for datacenters and cloud architecture
- Install and configure servers and applications to support data center infrastructure
- Configure, monitor, and test backup/recovery systems
- Proactively monitor data center status/health
- Perform system upgrades and patches
- Engage with vendors for license renewals and support contracts
- Support system administrator personnel
- Maintain security standards and practices
- Configure and maintain network and security configurations
- Manage Linux and Windows server environments
- Administer VMware/vSphere environment
- Manage data networking and VDI solutions
Requirements For Senior Data Center Engineer
- 8+ years professional experience as a datacenter engineer
- CompTIA Security + Certification
- Experience with Microsoft Windows server environments and Active Directory
- VMware/vCenter/vSphere experience
- Windows Server Failover Cluster services knowledge
- Expert understanding of LAN/WAN principles and protocols
- Experience with firewall design and management
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, IT or related field
- US citizenship and ability to obtain DoD security clearance
- Good verbal and written communication skills
